The Legal stuff: 10-7-2018
Federal Law requires tortoises sold as pets to be at least 4 inches. Tortoises 4 inches and over are legal Pet Shop Size these can be sold as pets (Please check your local & state laws).
All tortoises less than 4 inch straight length are sold as per Federal guidelines 21CFR 1240.62, not sold as pets only sold for Scientific, Educational, Exhibition or Export purposes.
PLEASE READ:
All Tortoises and Iguanas are captive raised on my farm (unless noted differently), my farm has been raising tortoises for over 30 years.
Most Aldabra hatchling sold come from the farm in the Seychelles who we have partnered with for a very long time. Aldabras, large and small are also acquired from Zoos, and originations across the country.
All group lots of tortoises (over 10) are sold with a Vet Health Certificate (required for interstate travel).
Note: failure to read my terms & Conditions for any reason will not be a reason to consider them void or altered.

Live arrival & Health terms (FedEx & Delta)

Arrival By FED-X The high and low temperature range for the day must be above 40 and below 88 degrees (Shipping & Receiving locations or live arrival guarantee is void).
You or your agent must be present to sign for door to door shipments (Fed-X, First delivery attempt)
I am not responsible for missed deliveries or carrier delays. (Missed delivers void the live arrival & health guarantees)

In the event the animals arrive sick or dead, you must take pictures and videos and retain the bodies for inspection)
The body's must be placed in a refrigerator (not in the freezer) ASAP to allow for proper preservation for inspection and insurance claim.

Report immediately to us and abnormal disposition of the animal you receive.
This includes but is not limited to, Over hot or warm, Cold animals, any abnormal discharge, mucus, blood etc, Report if the animals is lethargic, not moving or appears weak.
Tortoise may be locked in their shell, determine if the animal(s) is alive by poking and trying to pull its limps or head out, if it is alive but you can not pull its limbs out, means the animal is still strong and probably ok, Continue to monitor.

Arrival by Delta Air: all shipments are insured.

You must open and inspect your animal(s) at the Delta Counter and report any abnormalities to an agent and then us. 754-444-1710 and Sam@FloridaIguana.com

If you leave the counter, we cannot make an insurance claim on your behalf and the insurance will be lost.

Report immediately to a delta agent at the pickup counter any abnormal disposition of the animal you receive.

30 Day Health Guarantee:

Animals are guaranteed healthily, eating and acting normally.
If your animal is sick or is not eating, you can return them prepaid shipping back to us and we will exchange the animal with free shipping back to you.
Does not cover sudden death, the animal you send back must be alive (Please see Live arrival & Health terms) your health guarantee may be void if the shipping terms were not met.
This guarantee applies to hatchling and Young tortoises up to 8"
This guarntee does not apply to Sub Adult, Juvenile or Adult Aldabra or Galapagos tortoises.

One year Health Guarantee

You can't go wrong with that) If your animal(s) gets sick any time within the first year you can ship them back to us and we will treat him free of charge to you (other than shipping) and return him when he is healthy. There is no Guarantee against death.
This could be considered to be a backup policy in the event your Vet quotes you an unaffordable price or you do not feel, a local vet can give your animal the best chance of survival.

Guaranteed live arrival:

Animals are guaranteed to arrive live providing our terms are met (please see Live arrival & Health terms) Animals that do not arrive live will be replaced.

No other guarantees or warrantees are implied or offered.

PAYMENT:

We accept Bank wire transfer and prefer PayPal . We can send you an invoice through PayPal or you can send PayPal money directly to sam@FloridaIguana.com You can also pay by certified check or personal check (allow time to clear). We are happy to hold animals with a 20% non-refundable deposit.
